Lubieszów

Lubieszów every time I ride a bike discovers new curiosities. This time I stopped at a horse village from Bierawa. There are two interesting things here. The first is a roadside cross from 1898. It is interesting that the name of the village is recorded in the form: Liebieszów.

The Heritage park "Lubieszowska Izba" is located nearby. It consists of two parts: an old barn, which, unfortunately, was closed. The second part is the common space around the building, where tools and machines were placed that formerly served our residents on the farm. They are a gift of our residents for the created heritage park.

Lubieszów

The wooden chapel of St. John of Nepomuk in Lubieszów was built in the second half of the 18th century. From the front, it is open with a rectangular cutout and openwork ornaments. The roof is covered with shingles, with a tower with a bell. Inside the chapel stands a baroque sculpture of St. John of Nepomuk made of sandstone.

Legend has it that after the great flood that hit Lubieszów, the sculpture of St. John of Nepomuk was found. According to this legend, a chapel was built in the place of finding.
