The hunting lodge in Łężczok was built in 1783 by the Cistercian Order. As a result of the dissolution in 1810, the building passed into the hands of the Dukes of Racibórz. At the beginning of the 20th century, hunting with the participation of the German Emperor Wilhelm II took place here. In the 1950s a rich collection of the archives of the Prince's Chamber in Racibórz (1701-1938) was discovered in the palace, which was hidden here by Germans in 1945. After the war, the palace was transformed into a forester's lodge, and now the building is in ruins.
Unfortunately, the building from year to year looks worse and worse, it will soon fail. At the bottom of the post, I added photos from 2015.
